The Story of ONE PUTT BIRDS
Nourished on fairways miles apart by parents, grandparents and family friends who loved the game of golf, little did we know families would blend, a lifelong connection would endure, and a brand would be born and refined.
Reared in Western Maryland around Junior Golf in the 80’s and 90’s by a father who instilled the tradition and etiquette of golf along with Grandparents from Georgia with Masters season tickets, our childhood produced a love for the game.
Married in 2000 and Granddaddy gifting us his tickets to the Masters, we soaked in the beauty of “Amen Corner” and surprisingly returned in 2004, this time enjoying a memorable stroll up the 18th with Dad. As our family has grown, we have enjoyed being in the galleries at other PGA, LPGA, and USGA events.
When our daughters were born, they both received their 1st set of junior golf clubs, but it wasn’t until Covid 19 when we truly started walking the fairways together and giving our girls their first driving lessons on the cart paths.
Over the years, the game of golf has reacquainted childhood friendships and new ones have been developed on the course, bringing us to realize the game of golf creates something for everyone.
Through competitive rounds watching our daughter soar through the Junior golf rankings, winning a state championship, playing causal rounds on summer evenings as a family of four, and hangin’ with buddies on annual golf trips, we are enthusiastic about creating an on/off the course brand that embodies the fun, love, and enthusiasm we share for all aspects of golf and life when a family member or friend makes a ONE PUTT BIRD on or off the course.
Although the game of golf has grown significantly in the past decade, the limited off course apparel for men, women and kids has led us on a fun adventure in fashioning and bringing our meaningful brand to you. As an inspiring family full of spirit to bring new quality on and off course apparel to the game, we are thrilled to have teamed up with a lifelong childhood and family friend, former LPGA Futures Tour player, experienced and versatile entrepreneur who loves the game as much as we do and strives for ONE PUTT BIRDS in life too.
Our Vision & Purpose
Whether you are an avid golfer, live above or below par, and just enjoy watching the game, ONE PUTT BIRDS has something for you to wear on/off the course.
ONE PUTT BIRDS creates fun and elegant designs with quality, comfortable and casual apparel for the everyday golfer of all ages to wear when practicing at the local driving range, teeing up in their favorite simulator, and hanging out at the 19th hole.
At the end of the day, all golfers should look good, feel good, and always aim for ONE PUTT BIRDS.
The One Putt Birds family has spent the past 25 years serving as public educators and volunteers in their local community. For the love of the game and passion to pay it forward, a cooperative of One Putt Birds, LLC is The One Putt Birds Foundation. This separate 501c(3) non-profit organization supports golfers with intellectual and physical disabilities to access the game of golf. One Putt Birds, LLC will donate a portion of profits to the foundation.
