Lee Gardenhour, Professional
Lee Gardenhour is family to One Putt Birds! Our relationship with Lee spans nearly 35 years and is rooted in much more than golf - it is built on family, mentorship, friendship, and a shared love for the game.
Lee and Eric grew up playing golf at Waynesboro Country Club in Pennsylvania alongside fathers who instilled in them a love of golf that went far beyond the game itself. Eric looked up to Lee as a positive influence and mentor from an early age while Lee always made sure to keep Eric under his wing. That lifelong relationship with the Gardenhour family eventually grew into something even more meaningful with Lee becoming a major part of Piper's success both on the golf course and in life as her PGA professional, coach, mentor, and friend.
Lee Gardenhour has been a PGA Golf Professional for the past 27 years, building a career centered around helping golfers of all ages improve their game while developing a deeper appreciation for the sport. He is especially proud to be close to home, serving as the PGA Professional at Chambersburg Country Club for the past eight years.
Throughout his career, Lee has coached and mentored thousands of golfers, both adults and juniors. Some of his most rewarding accomplishments have come from working with young players, many of whom have gone on to become state champions and successful collegiate golfers. Through programs such as the world-renowned Operation36 program at Chambersburg Country Club, Lee has helped young golfers develop not only their skills, but also the confidence, discipline, and mindset needed to succeed. For Lee, one of the greatest rewards of being a PGA Professional is watching his students grow - not just as gofers, but as people.
Lee is also widely recognized throughout the region for his expertise in golf club fitting. Over the years, he as personally helped thousands of golfers find equipment that complements their individual swing, ability, and goals. His philosophy goes beyond simply putting the newest equipment in golfers hands. Lee believes the right equipment should be properly matched to the individual. That approach has helped Chambersburg Country Club earn national recognition for its club-fitting expertise, with the club consistently ranked among the Top 100 Club Fitters in the country.
Whether working with a beginner picking up a club for the first time, a junior golfer chasing the next level, or an experienced player looking for an edge through coaching and properly fitted equipment, Lee brings nearly three decades of experience, knowledge, and passion to every golfer he works with.
Most importantly, Lee Gardenhour represents what One Putt Birds is all about - Family, Relationships, Hard Work, Chasing Personal Goals, Staying Focused, Determined, Giving Yourself a Chance and when things get tough, being GRITTY enough to keep moving forward.

Craig Balsinger, Professional
Director of Instruction at Holly Hills Country Club, Craig brings leadership, experience, and a lifelong passion for the game as a Bird Ambassador.
Piper Meredith, Intercollegiate
Starting in the fall of 2026, Piper will begin her freshman year, playing golf at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. She represents determination, discipline, and true grit as a Bird Ambassador.
Nash Nelms, Junior Golf
Nash is a junior member at Chambersburg Country Club where he enjoys golf alongside his family. He competes in junior golf tournaments and represents hard work, confidence, and true grit as a Bird Ambassador.
Off Course - Brand Ambassadors
Tanner Meredith
Tanner is a middle school student and competitive volleyball player who brings energy and determination to everything she does. She also enjoys playing golf with her OPB family. As a Bird Ambassador, Tanner represents family, fun and true grit on and off the course.
Sophia Taffe
In 2026, Sophia attends Marymount University and is a proud Bird Ambassador. She is majoring in Political Science with a minor in Fashion Marketing, blending her interest in leadership with her creative side. Sophia's eye for style brings a fresh, youthful perspective to One Putt Birds.
William Taffe
William is a senior at Saint James School, where he competes in multiple sports. He has verbally committed to play football at the United States Naval Academy and represents leadership, discipline, and true grit as a Bird Ambassador.
Noah Walker
Noah brings plenty of personality, positivity, and joy to the OPB flock. He loves spending time with his family and friends, hanging out on the boat with his dogs, and enjoying the coastal lifestyle. As a Bird Ambassador, Noah represents the fun, heart, and togetherness behind One Putt Birds.
Lukas Walker
Lukas attends the College of Charleston where he is majoring in Business. He embraces the coastal lifestyle and enjoys exploring new places, especially Norway. As a Bird Ambassador, Lukas represents the adventurous, off-course spirit of the OPB flock.
